In Reply to: Ford TW 35 or 8830....any good?? posted by Mn Dave on Friday, June 19, 2009:

Both are good tractors.TW 35 has a dry clutch and manual gearbox.Very simple tractor to work on [steam engine tecnology]
8830 has power shift gear box which is very expesive to repair if you are going to buy a 8830 check clutch packs by using the self diagnostic mode on digital dash.If you want a good old plodder go for the TW 35.
