I have a Ford 5000 on tracks - I use it for cutting turf so it is only used seasonally. When I started it this year it would misfire when given throttle. I changed fuel filters and drained tank and cleaned it - a bit better but when I went to work it it still misfired and then overheated and water into oil.
I read some of the suggestions posted so I was wondering could the timing be off which caused it to misfire and subsequently overheat. Finally now that it has overheated - head gasket must be gone but block could be porous also. Is there a sealer I could get for block.
Thanks
