Clutch was working fine while disking a field. Then put clutch in to change gears and gears were grinding. Clutch was all of a sudden not working properly. I adjusted the clutch linkage by taking some play out of the foot peddle. This helped so I could shift without the gears grinding. It shifts ok, but it feels like when it is put into gear it engages right away even with the clutch all the way in (the tractor sometimes will move slightly). However, the clutch will not disengage the Pto like it should. The clutch can be all the way down and the pto will still be turning. It is supposed to stop when the clutch is 1/2 way engaged.
Any ideas on how to go about figuring out what is wrong and correcting it?
Thank you for your help!
