Thanks Shaun. I have been doing some troubleshooting on my own. I can lift the tractor with down tilt but up tilt is feeble. I will have the valve rebuilt when I can lay up the machine. For now I think I will reverse the lines. That should give me power up which is what I need to scoop material. The tractor is 43 years old and I find it amazing that it works well. The only other issue is a small drip on the hydraulic return line from the valve to the tank. It is welded all the way and one of the welds is leaking. If I drained the system and welded to repair, I would have to flush the system after. Any hints on the best way to do that? Also, can this valve be replaced with a off the shelf prince valve or should I just have the OEM rebuilt?
