I have a super major with the simms mechanical injector pump? the other day it just stopped and refuses to start again. I have bled the fuel lines and cleaned all the filters, no problems located there. I have discovered that one of the pump outlets is blocked but I am of the belief that it should still run on 3 cylinders? I have checked the timing marks and they all seem to be correct. What mechanism turns the pump (belt, chain etc ?) and is it possible that this mechanism has slipped giving the outward appearance that all is ok? Can anyone help a desperate aussie?
