It wont fire at all when the breaker plate is shorted,is the little ground strap from the points to the dist case there?Your gear on the dist has been known to twist the roll pin which puts it out of time,check that very carefull,before you pull the dist point your rotor in a place where you know where it was ,put back in where the rotor was pointing prior to pulling it.Have you tried the old cap and rotor,the only time I've seen all cyls fire at the same time is when someone took a lead pencil and drew circles around the inside of the cap.good luck JR
