JR.
When I went to pick up this tractor it was having a hard time starting, we played with it until I swivlede the dis. a little bit and then finally brought it back to the home position. It tried to start and then with some either I coaxed it to begin to run and it ran perfectly and started perfectly. When we begin to back it of the trailer when we reached our destination it died. We have burnt up a starter cranking it and have replaced every thing electrical. I guess I was just lucky getting it started in the first place.
I believe that something is changing in the distributor or it is grounding out in some way. When I pulled a spark plug it fired very weakly everytime the points opened not every third time.
When the plug is replaced it does not have enough spark to fire off ether. Tell me more about the breaker plate, and when would you finally see if the distributor is bad down below? Thank you for all your help.
