JR thank you. On of the complicated factors in this situation is that the tractor is at my dads farm 1 hour away and I can only work 1 day a week on it so I am trying to get all the info possible. The cap is new, i do not think that it is the rotor but what if the vaccum advance is way off? or broken? I am going prepared to pull the distributor this week. I am hoping that I do not have to but it seems like it is inevitable. What is the gearing on the distributor is off? Why would all the cylinders be firing at the same time with a weak spark? It just doesn't make any sense. any thoughts.
