JR.: I am currently using just a 5 ft. brush hog with the 601. It is supported/connected by chains to all three points on the three point hitch. In the 4:00 pos., it lifts and lowers to the chains length position ( the chains support it when the hydraulics lowers down). In the "UP" position (Draft Control) nothing happens.
Please tell me this, before I pull the top cover, should I be able to raise and lower the brush hog with the draft control in the "up" - horizontal position? With the brush hog hooked up, nothing happens in the Draft control's "up" position. Are there any adjustments I can make before I pull the top cover? Thanks for your help.
Bruce
