How long have you had this unit? When you bought this unit what model, did the seller tell you it was? Where is the 445 sticker located? On both sides, does this sticker show?
This post is interesting and unusual.
Your model number DD3140, shows it to be a Ford 545 Industrial Tractor, with a diesel engine and vertical exhaust, an Independent 540 pto, although your last number for the transmission is not viable. Could this be a ‘B’ or ‘C?’ Most 545 models had a power reversing transmission. What transmission does it have?
Your Unit number shows it to be assembled on February 27, 1979; the shift letter appears to missing really is of no real use to the owner.
Your Tractor Number C600201 verifies the year as 1979.
Your Engine number shows January 22, 1979. Midnight shift.
They made the Ford 545 Industrial model between 1978 and 1985.
There is a big difference between a Ford 445 Industrial tractor and a Ford 545 Industrial tractor.
