I recently purchased a ford 800 series model 860. I was told that this tractor has a 2 stage clutch. question :I just purchased a rough cut mower to mow my property, when I let the clutch out too fast it shears the pin on that connects to the pto. If I ease the clutch out and get the pto spining before the tractor moves, then it works fine. Is this the characteristics of a 2 stage clutch ??? Also I know that the 800 is about 46 horsepower, but I can find no data on how much it is putting out to the pto. Any help is appreciated.
