You can locate the glow plugs quite easily. If you can find the fuel injectors on the engine look down and just about 1.5 inch below the base of the injector you see the head bolts. Then just another inch or two below the head bolts you will find the glow plugs. They are connected together with a metal strip and that strip is wired to the circuit that activates the glow plugs. Hope this helps. I'd be interested in finding other Ford 1310 owners out there.
