Can anyone help? I have a Ford 2000 3 cyl. with the holley carb.Engine is in excellent shape with good compression on all three. Have done all tune up; plugs,points,cond.,rotor,cap,wires,filters,timing,etc. Tractor starts and runs well at any constant speed, but when the throttle lever is pushed faster, there is about a 4 second lag where it actually sounds like the engine has quit and then the engine catches and accelerates. Also when this happens, there is a backfire and flame out the exhaust. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas.
