I'm looking at buying a cat D6D but it does not have sweeps. I see I could buy a used set of sweeps, but I wonder how the sweep would attach to the front hood of the tractor. Are there different mounting brackets I would need to get, or would I have to make some? They would be easy enough to make, but is the front grill structure cast or steel - looks to be cast. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
