Does anyone have any clues regarding intermittant low oil pressure. I have taken apart the oil pump and control valve all looks excellent with little or no wear.. The filter screen is clean. have run it with the top cover removed and I see a lot of foam being released at the control valve which should indicate sucking air.. perhaps a broken or cracked pickup tube in the sump or leaking at the filter somehow Pressure should be approx 300psi from the pump but only got 20psi and zero at the torque converter inlet. No pressure no go... any ideas?
