The small rod must in be the cluch housing and if you could check on your hand lever cluch ,he has 1 rod adj. and this rod is bolted on 1 other lever and the small rod is on ,or if you removed the transission shifter you could see the small rod in the front and maybe the patern shifter is must be rusty too . LET ME KNOW
