hello i was fired after the ram on the bucket cyl. bent just enough for hdr.fulid to blow by.i was mining sand out of a pit when it occured .before you ask no the bank did not fall on etd. ram nothing happened i did attempt to lift the bucket of wet sand (5yd bucket) and the toe of the tracks began sinking ,could not lift bucket without going down i pushed down with the boom while rolling bucket (as dumping it) i was able to come out several minuites later it was leaking appox, 3/4 extened is where the bend was.no scratch no ding no sand on it nothing.i know the hyd. system has bypass valves to protect the system and i know what it takes to bend a ram (a bank falling on it )but none of this happened just what i explained .all i know is im out of a job for something i did not do i ran this equipment for 4yrs no problem.oh the owner said i could stay if i paid for the repair if not hit the road. thanks if anyone has had this happen or knows how it could happen please email me thank you danny .
