d2 d4 d6 all take the same starter and drive. I took a ac delco 40mt starter took off nose end housing and starter drive replacing them from ones i got off of a ebay store Tridiode. You need right helical starter drive 11 or 12 tooth clockwise rotation. then you need end housing for d4. starter drive are the same for d2,d4,d6,but end housings are differnt.hope this helps.
