Jerry I had a tank that was so nasty on a D7 that I ended up cutting a hole in the tank so I could get full access to the whole tank for scrubbing! Diesel is so hard to ignite welding on the tank is really not an issue! Make sure you use some clorox at the end to kill any of those diesel bugs that might be living in the tank!
