from what I can see you pistons changed to 0r1697 cylinder pack. The pistons have changed numbers and the rings are different, from the origanal pistons, so if you buy new pistons and order the old rings it calls for they would have been a miss-match. might what to check along that line to see if that is the problem.the 7wj serial number did not match that machine would you look again at it. the 8z 1w3225 is what I used.
