I'd say it is not that big of job time wise, maybe 30 to 45 minutes the 1st time you try it.
Biggest pain is positioning your body on the track and trying to see what your doing in the dark clutch hole. I use a small pen light to see where that nut is. It will take a little to get the right combo of extensions on your ratchet to get at that bolt.

If the clutch needs replaced the whole top cover has to come off, and the dash panel. It will look like the picture from before but will all those "guts' removed to get to the clutch disk.
I had to beat and break off the fiber splines of the old disk to get it out. It is not very hard to change technically, just more time and a few bigger parts. Cost shouldn't be too bad if you use aftermarket non CAT parts. CAT wants maybe $400 or $500 for the disk and aftermarket is maybe $100.
