We checked pushrods and lifters, tried swapping out injector with a brand new out-of-the box one, and still it knocked. Reset the valves several times. The sound definitely comes from the rocker assembly, but we have swapped out the rocker assembly and it still knocks. Getting good lubrication. When you loosen the nut that holds the whole rocker assembly in place, the knock goes away. There appears to be a small amount of black oil coming from around the valve when you remove the rocker assy. Could I have a bent valve or bad valve guide?
