Hello WG an Guys,
WG believe I know injector barrells not stuck.
When I pulled the cover off the plungers everything looked good, but when I got2 govenor cover is the first internal rust I found.Know the plungers are moveing and got the govenor off
tonite and had rack rod free. And it was left in the fuel off "KILL" position, rust seen on rack rod out of pump inside govenor not a problem. Once govenor free I could easily move fuel rack
and observed plunger movement in small movement
of pump/govenor gear.Have A question? Decal on side says chg.fuel pump oil every 125hrs. Can't
find out what type/wgt. oil the pump an govenor share. Ordered all gaskets and new bearings for
govenor flyweight assy. WG the shaft from govenor
control assy.into the gov.is whats seized.Hence no throttle.Whole covers sokin in diesel tonite.
Will free everything this wk. end. P.S. no oil present in gov assy. but present in bottom of pump assy. REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT OIL TYPE TO PUT BACK IN ! 10/40? 85/140? Hole between 2 assy's is small and will clean out. THANX TO ALL
ESPICIALLY you WG. THE Dude
