this afternoon I took the governor off and it looks OK, everything is tight and working except for a missing bushing in the linkage to the injector rod, makes some play in the movement, i can fix that easy.
How about fuel pressure? I was just thinking if there's a problem with the regulator my expirment with the external pump wouldn't have done anything for it. Is that the regulator that a line goes to on the front of the filter chamber? bolted to the water passage, (i suppose to warm the fuel) is there some way to put a guage on it? and what's it supposed to be? I was about to take the cover off but didn't have the tool with me last trip up the hill.
