did you do your fuel transfer pump? they can leak internally if the drain hole gets plugged. the injection pumps them-selfs can leak down the sides if their worn real bad, or the mounting seals under the pumps get hard and crack.
when you say lose of oil pressure, do you mean none or just a lowering of the pressure?
If you lose oil pressure totally the drive to the oil pump may have worn through or broken.
