A 950G should have a 3116.
I would guess its not starting when its hot because of a few possible things.
It definitely sounds like a fuel issue.
1. The fuel filters would be the first place to check.
2. a fuel line or part of the fuel system is sucking in air. tighten all fittings.
3. Injectors are worn and have alot of hours on them. A quick way to test is while it wont start, move the rack to full fuel and it should then start.(the valve cover needs removed)
4.One of the cups is allowing combustion into the fuel. Check with a sight glass.
5.transfer pump is bad, check fuel pressure, should be 40-60psi.
6. The return check could be allowing fuel to run out of the head. Clean it and stretch the spring a little.
There could be other things wrong and it may be something totally different if the symptoms are not only the ones originally told.
A serial number really helps when trying to fix or diagnose a machine because of all the different models and variations.
