Air compressor was removed from the engine. Turbo was pressure checked and had very minimal leakage from the slip ring seals. Engine (c15 acert) has slight blowby when cold but just chuffs smoke rings from the oil fill tube at operating temp at an idle. No boost in that rpm range. I'm thinking this operator has dusted his engine- rings are shot. Customer wants warranty but it's not looking good for the home team.
