one thing with front cable control units is do not put your self in between the blade and the nose of the front end, when doing any adjustments when the engine is running! If you adjust the clutch to tight it well grab the cable and two block it in an instance. Then also watch your toes, that the blade does not drop suddenly.
Have not worked on them in years, but remeber that saftey precation first and foremost.
