Have you found a solution to your problem since April? I just found your inquiry. A family member is rebuilding a D2 and is very knowlegeable. He is rebuilding a 1956 D2 with a pnoy motor. I am surprised yours doesn't have one. His name is Bradley Duvall 410-984-8672
