First thing I did on my 7 was to go to a good starter shop and get them to order the correct hub. Then they matched up the (I assume)delco remy starter to the hub. You need to get yourself at least 2 4d batteries, some 2/0 cable, and an ignition switch or starter button. On my seven it was real helpful to know which flywheel was in it. I also installed cummins manifold heaters on my seven between the intake and air cleaner tube. In 20 degree weather I turn on the heaters for about 25 seconds and she fires as quick as you can hit the key. Then I just cycle the heaters on and off for a few minutes to make it run smooth. I am currently working on installing a air intake tempature sensor in the intake so it can cycle automaticly like a new truck. I really enjoy making it modern day running. I hope this was helpful.
