The 619 does have the original 4 cyl. turbocharged/aftercooled eng. It has been converted from pony to direct electric start. I do have technical, parts and operator's books. I have done some testing on the torque convertor. I've cleaned all oil screens in the trans. oil system, the pressured filter located on the side of the hydraulic reservior, as well as the trans. to coolant heat exchanger. Could my heating problem be related to my trans. shift problem? My 3 speed range trans. works fine. I have adjusted my shift differential located on the bottom of the convertor hold/throttle position valve, to no avail. My 619 does have a 218 hancock self loader that is all hydraulic, except for the elevator, which is mechanically powered by a 371 detroit. It's air actuated on the throttle and clutch. Complete machine is a low hour unit, but did sit up for a number of years. In normal operation can you get 3 detectable speed changes in each range with this torque convertor?
Thanks,
Ed
