Thanks for the reply. I had called Cat and found out everything was individual and was hoping there was an alternative. Just as well, as I've seen the longevity of these engines. My #3 is making tar out the exhaust manifold and I'm only guessing that its a ring problem. I have a D13000 right beside this one, and your right about the bore and stroke. Did you install the rings yourself? I know its not rocket science, but they're some awful brittle.
