I did mine last year and found there are no "kits". Cat sells all the individual components. If I remember right the 4H7074 jug liner kit was about $445.oo a cylinder. That consisted of one liner, one piston, three jug liner seals, and the small steel shim gasket at the top of the jug. Rings are extra. Cat claims the liners are so hard they are un-hone able and recomend replacing them. I think the bearings were about $80 a rod. Caterpillar is very proud of there parts. www.tractorparts.com is where I got my new old stock gaskets from. The best advice I can give you is use as much of your old parts as possible within reason. I've got an D8800 torn down if you need some decent used parts. The only way I could afford to do my engine was to buy another one and use the best parts too make one. I've been told that a D13000 uses the same internal parts it just has two extra cylinders if you could find one of those. Kind of like a chevrolet 350 and a 4.3 liter V-6. I'm no expert just have spent alot of free time messing with these old cats. Once you get them runnin right it's all worth it. E-mail me if I can help.
