Iam a new owner of a 48 D4 dozer that has a bad head gasket. It sat for three years with water in the head.It is a four cilinder diesel the pony is being rebuilt now. I have not takin the head off yet. I would like to know what, when , how ,and everything in between on what to watch for and how to unfreeze the motor if i have to. I have no idea on how to turn it over by hand. It has a pump on the front of the motor.I even tried to pull start it no luck.I would like some ideas on how to start. Thanks
