I am now starting to use my 580ck. The tube from the clutch oil pressure guage is going to nowhere. It has the brass threaded fitting on it- but I don't see a hole to thread it into. There is a test port with a plug about where it should go but that hole is a larger inner diameter. The second thing of note was I went to change the filter in the housing itself (not the torque converter filter in front of the radiator) but there was no filter in it and it appeared to be dry. Is that not used? Lastly, should I check the trans fluid level with the tractor running-it seems to splatter around when I open the dipstick. WHEW!!!
