ok aj I have already tryed crossing the lines, did't make any difference. I changed the front mounting plate & installed a 990 cav pump, it would not even fire on any cyl. so I changed it back. as for as I know this is org. pump. It is a simms #P5009/2 I worked with it yesterday, and I could reave the engine to a high rpm & it would hit on all cyl. That seems to me, it would be in pump or a flat lobe on cam. What do you think? I am 70 years old and been a tractor mech. all my life ,I have never had any thing like this before. I guess I need to retire. BOB
