Issue happened the other day when blowing snow in driveway yard. Placed the tractor in reverse and started moving and the shiftlever became sloppy in motion. I couldn't take the tractor out of gear and think there must be a linkage out from the lever handle. There is a small visual hole in a shroud which covers a horizontal shaft leading to the transmission housing. Appears to to be 2 shaft pieces with each shaft having a hole to align. Can't find our manual to track down the illustrations before opening up the problem. Any suggestions from anyone having similar situation. Had to get creative in moving the tractor out of the way of other buildings since there is safety switch in starting(can't be in gear).
