If the full bucket holds up it is unlikely a cyl seal,the trouble can be in the port valve,there could be an o'ring blown on the valve body,take the whiole valve out and check on the o'ring on the bottom of the body,do not alter the adjusting screw on top,the port valve for the boom down is beside the spool valve for that function,I think its the top one but not 100%,clean around the valve so dirt won't get into the system,WARNING make sure all the equipment is resting on the ground and the engine stopped before opening anything on the hydraulic valve,if you do not have a manual it might be best to have a mechanic that has experience have a look at it because it is very hard for me to try and advise you only give you the possibles,there are three possibles,the cylinder seals,the port valve,the main spool valve,any of those can be leaking internally that can cause the problem.
