Eric: You will need some stands and a hydraulic jack as well. Put the loader in the air. Cut a substantial piece of channel iron and put it over the lift cylinder rod to support loader frame.
Install barn jacks under loader frame at approx. bell housing area to support loader frame and loader. Two bolts (3/4) hold the loader frame to the front rad cover. After removing these 2 bolts the whole weight will be on the barn jacks. Remove hydraulic suction tubes from both sides of loader frame in front of rad. Install jack under front of bell housing. Put floor jack under A-frame below oil pan. Remove bolts around bell housing. Engine, front axle, wheels should all travel forward. Put tapered blocks between axle and front pivot so assembly will remain in vertical position. Be very CAREFUL. This will bring engine out into an area where you can use your hoist.
