I am surprised that you are having trouble with the hydraulics on your SM,did anything fail that could have allowed debris in the system,it sounds to me that there is something in the bucket control valve allowing the bucket to flop about, either the load check valves are been held open or the port valve, the swing problem sounds as if the oil is building up pressure and when high enough overcomes the restriction and goes like a shot,it could be something in the cylinder restrictors,I would take both out to eliminate them, there is a restrictor at the cap end of each cylinder under the nipple for the hose connection, there are two hoses that connect the two cylinders together, one from the rod end of one to the bottom end of the other,I have been looking after Case machines for years and have never heard of rods breaking in the middle, eyes coming off yes, caps pulling out of the cylinders yes but to break a rod in the middle never, you should have found out why it happened,is there a hydraulic problem or a mechanical one with something out of line or jamming up,as the machine is not old you should have it looked at by someone that knows them.
