The 1690 has a suction screen underneath the gearbox [it is washable, but you need compressed air], and a pressure filter [throw away] mounted under the hyd cross-shaft on the RH side of the pto housing. The hyd power for the tip trailer, does it come from the diverter valve on the LH front of the rear axle case, or the double acting slices stacked on top of each other on the RH top of the rear axle case. If the power comes from the DA slices, this is live from the pump, therefore pump, relief valve and filters are the problem areas. If the power is coming from the diverter valve oil is coming through the hyd valve chest [like the brain of the hydraulics. There is a filter screen and an alloy washer with a pin hole in it inside the by-pass valve that can block, usually causes loss of hydraulics. Definitely filters first though.
