580 Super D backfires

My 580 with the 207 turbo is backfiring on the #3 cylinder. When the #3 intake valve goes down I get a backfire through the intake side. I have just rebuilt the head hoping that would fix it,but no luck. My guess now is that is has something to do with the camshaft or timing gears, but it runs on the other 3 cylinders. I also had the injection pump rebuilt and installed new injectors because the pump was leaking. Thanks for any help
