I am doing some research on the fittings found on the Case 580 Super L Series 2; more specifically the ones found on the pressure side of the bucket left cylinder. The fitting that connects the hose to the loader/backhoe is brazed (double male ended) not forged (single solid piece).
My question to all of you is whether you know of any competitors of Case (John Deere, Caterpillar, ect.) usinf forged fittings as opposed to brazed? These fittings do not necessarily have to be from a loader. Any information will be helpful.
