The port valve(ancillary relief valve)will be on the loader control valve,find which spool the lever moves for loader up and down,beside the spool valve both top and bottom is a relief valve for one circuit,ie you will have a relief valve for the loader up and another for the loader down,those valves also act like a shock absorber when say you lower the loader and let the lever go the valve would take the shock rather than the spool,Case used several different brands of control valves on the early backhoes,Hydreco and Parker were two,I always go for the cylinder seals first because they are wearing parts,some of the older cylinders that had two piece pistons had cheveron type seals,those seals were directional and had to have the V shape facing against the pressure,if you got them the lift side could be ok and the push down side ruptured,test the cylinders for the oil bypassing by taking off the lift hoses and blanking them,then start the engine and push down on the bucket and see if you have oil coming out of the open nipple,if you have the seal is shot,if there is no oil the seal is good and the trouble is in the valve,use common sense around hydraulics make sure the bucket is on the ground and the levers wobbled about before opening any pipe,keeping the bucket on the ground keeps you above it.
