If your machine is strong in reverse it is saying that the torque convertor,charge pump,reverse clutch pack,control valve and pressure are ok,the only test you can do is a pressure test,if the forward clutch pack is not getting squeezed tight enough together it will slip,check the pressure from test point no1 with the forward clutch engaged and compare it with reverse,if its not as good it is leaking internally.
