Never heard of that happening before,the spur gear in the pump must have dug into the wear plate and cut a groove in it,it would only take a few turns to do that if the gear was held tight against it,the oil is escaping through the groove,if the coupling had anti seize grease on the splines that would not happen,looking at the parts drawing all the parts seem to be available,you can look at the on-line catalog at the link below,click on find parts by model,type in 580SK, choose first one then hydraulics,the Case part # of a new pump is D149283,re-manufactured D149283R,check on Ebay,Google the part number on it's own and it will find any that's advertised.
