I think I messed up my hydraulic pump changing my serpentine belt. I drove wedges to push the pump coupler forward so I could slide the belt in, it was difficult to slide. The belt was fitted but afterward the hydraulics where weak especially on picking up the boom, riggers and lifting the loader. The boom will still lift the tractor off the riggers the riggers still lift ok. When idling, these lift function barley work at all.
Could the pump be fixable? or is it time for a rebuilt one? I was being careful not to bend or damage the crankshaft pulley and wondered about the loads I was putting on the pump shaft, I guess I have my answer now.
