first of all I apologize if this has already been gone over. If it has, I couldn't find it.
I've got a 64 case 930 CK with the draft-o-matic and I'm having a hard time understanding the operation of the control quadrant with respect to the "control valve" ??? under the seat. It's a flat piece of metal, with a loop on the end... you can push it in and out with your finger. It seems to 'detent' into one of several holes on the floorboard.
I have the repair manual for this tractor, but it doesn't give a very clear explanation for the "user" about how this little flat lever on the floorboard under the seat affects the control (up and down) quadrant -
I know it's a complicated piece of engineering and seems useful. However at the moment, I just want 100% control of the 3pt arms. In other words I don't want the draft-o-matic to do any up/down FOR me. Is this possible?
My issue seems to be that with the "little flat lever on the floorboars" all the way back the 3pt arms will come all the way up, but with it all the way "out" they only come up about half way. (it's possible that the behavior is vice-versa... it's late and I apologize)
Any input, although I know I'm being a little vauge, is appreciated.
