I asked earlier about blowing a fuse for my blower motor for the heater on my 580SL series one.
It runs on low speed but blows on high.
I disconnected at the switch and all was well.
Hooked back up, turned on high, and immediately blew the fuse.
I did have some evidence of mice up in the headliner but see no signs of gnawing on any wiring.
My question now is with the headliner removed what is the next step? I didn't have tools with me earlier today. It looks like removal of the side ductwork is next, but then what? I can see what I assume is the heater core but not the blower specifically.
Thanks.
