If the bend in the rod is over a distance and the chrome is good take it out of the cylinder and remove the piston and gland from it,take it to an engineering shop with a press and have them straighten it,reasemble with a new seal kit,I have straightened loads of Case rods over the years without any problems after, you have a better chance of selling the CK whole than if there are bits missing off it,lots of guys on here have 580CK's and you may find someone interested in it for a winter project.
